The straightforward answer is that he does not satisfy the criteria of WP:GNG, as there are no in-depth sources covering him, and he has never been elected in any provincial or national election. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 15:39, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
You yourself stated that he is the closest thing to a candidate for PTI-Independents, if he is considered a candidate for the third-largest bloc in the Sindh assembly, he meets the notability criteria. Titan2456 (talk) 15:50, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I would appreciate it if you could reference a specific policy that states candidates are inherently notable, rather than making general statements then we would be able to create articles on all electoral candidates and not worry about them meeting notability criteria. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 19:48, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
You are the one calling for it to be deleted you must be specific not me, I have already said that he is the General Secretary of PTI Sindh and the 3rd highest ranking candidate not just any candidate like in the general statements you are giving. Titan2456 (talk) 19:59, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I've already mentioned that he does not meet WP:GNG, and there is no policy stating that candidates are inherently notable. How would you like me to cite something that doesn't exist? You are the one advocating that election candidates are inherently notable thus the onus falls on you to cite such a policy if it exists. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 20:25, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
You are posing this as if this is an AfC Draft and you are the reviewer, while I am arguing for it to be public. This is a public Wikipedia article, and you are the one trying to make a change, and arguing for something, be specific on why you want to delete it, how does it not meet WP:GNG, be more specific. Titan2456 (talk) 21:37, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
I was clear and precise in my initial response to you, as well as in the reasoning provided in the deletion template. Please read both carefully to understand them. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 22:07, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
You have given one main point so far for deletion of this article and I have refuted it.
- You said candidates aren’t inherently notable, he isn’t just a candidate he is the General Secretary for Sindh of the largest political party in Pakistan, additionally, he is a human rights activist and leader of a human rights group, which you can see in the citations of this article. Titan2456 (talk) 23:15, 15 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
Why are you displaying WP:IDHT behavior? My first comment and the deletion template provide the reason as he does not satisfy the criteria of WP:GNG, as there are no in-depth sources covering him. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 00:03, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
All the sources are secondary as per WP:GNG, the article is start class and is barely in-depth after the changes, are you still arguing for it to be deleted despite it no longer including primary sources and only containing news reports as sources? Titan2456 (talk) 14:22, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply

@Titan2456 This is a BLP article, so why are you using a primary source for the content? Why not exclude it and rely solely on secondary sources? If we allow this, people could use LinkedIn and add terms like "he claims." Social media is full of unverifiable claims, and we should treat all primary sources the same as social media. You need to remove the primary source and any content it supports. Sheriff | ☎ 911 | 00:46, 16 October 2024 (UTC)Reply
