editAlice Gomme's husband was a folklorist and administrator of considerable achievement; see http://www.answers.com/topic/george-laurence-gomme for a good account of him and the lack of an article is rather surprising (though requested two years ? ago according to Requested articles/biog listings) The contents of 'Singing Games' were originally planned as a mere part of an encyclopaedic work on folklore according to Georgina Boyes at http://www.mustrad.org.uk/articles/gomme.htm: the plan was Laurence Gomme's and the content would be from both of them —Preceding unsigned comment added by Felix Folio Secundus (talk • contribs) 12:17, 18 November 2008 (UTC)
