Double Platinum

How can it attain double platinum twice? Either it has 2x platinum OR it has 4x platinum, right. Why does it state that it has 2x 2x platinum - that doesnt make sense, or? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.57.18.231 (talk) 14:01, 22 March 2008 (UTC)

Since it's a double album, depending on the length of both records, in the 70's it would have been certified 4 times platinum since it was a double platinum album. It does not meet the criteria of 100 minutes for both records, so only certified for 2 million, hope I got that right!

Paul Stanley all guitars...

It states in the article "Paul Stanley played all guitars on 'Any Way You Want It'". Later on, in the credits, it states Bob Kulick played lead & rhythm guitars on track disc 2 track 10, which is "Any Way You Want It". So did Paul Stanley play all guitars on this track or not? - Alterego269 Yes, he played all guitars for this song.

Criticism

I love this album. But it was not only praised. It was also quite criticized for being heavily doctored, so much to the point of questioning if it can still be considered a live album after all. It was mostly recorded at the LA Forum (some 15,000 seats)but it sounds like it was recorded at the Rose Bowl (some 100,000 seats). No kidding. Also, there's been some revisionism in such non-scholarly mags like "Kerrang" and "Guitar World" making this out as some sort of classic. Rolling Stone, etc., were pretty savage at the time on this record. I don't care who likes it or not, but there IS a difference between media organs targeted to specific audiences to sell copy by praising their topics, and the more 'pure' critical magazines and books - which on the whole are not kind to this album or KISS in general. With all the KISS fanboys editing here, however, that will be difficult to make 'stick.' 50.111.45.222 (talk) 11:23, 5 November 2021 (UTC)

Track listing mixup

This description of the track listing misprint is way too confusing and needs to be simplified

“On the misprint, "Take Me" is after "Detroit Rock City," with "King of the Night Time World" appearing after "Ladies Room" on side one. Side two features "Hooligan" after "Shock Me," which is placed after "Hard Luck Woman." On side three, "Do You Love Me?" appears after "God of Thunder," with "Beth" sandwiched between "I Want You" and "Shout It Out Loud." Imagine offline (talk) 22:27, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
