This article's Good Article promotion has been put on hold. During review, some issues were discovered that can be resolved without a major re-write. This is how the article, as of July 24, 2007, compares against the six good article criteria:
1. Well written?: Not too bad, although I have modified a few repetitions of "lauded" etc.
2. Factually accurate?: Seems to be, reasonably well referenced.
3. Broad in coverage?: Perhaps a little to thorough - the Reception section is highly detailed while the Gameplay and Development sections fall short. This is the area I think which needs most focus.
4. Neutral point of view?: Yes, in fact the Reception section treats the game from all perspectives.
5. Article stability? Definitely.
6. Images?: All correctly "Fair Use" tagged.
Please address these matters soon and then leave a note here showing how they have been resolved. After 48 hours the article should be reviewed again. If these issues are not addressed within 7 days, the article may be failed without further notice. Thank you for your work so far.
— I think a more balanced Gameplay and Development section is required before I'd be happy to pass it as a GA. The Rambling Man10:15, 24 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Alright, I've expanded the Gameplay section and copyedited the article. I've also expanded the Development section with info about Osaka and the score's rock genre, and Square's own comment on the graphics. This Development section is still shorter than the other sections, but I believe I covered as much as I could (considering it's not something like an RPG and it's Japanese-exclusive). In any case, thanks for your attention! Kariteh09:15, 25 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
