I have removed, again, the reference originally inserted by the publishers and restored by an IP which purports to show Obama referring to this book in a speech. All that the transcript shows is that Obama used the common phrase "You're on your own". There is no indication that he was referring to this book; in particular, the theme of the book is to contrast "you're on your own" with "we're in this together", and Obama did not use the latter phrase.
