Why is this page being deleted? Bebe Rexha is a notable artist. Why would she not meet Wikipedia's guidelines for notability? Explain please. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Wizardofoz30 (talk • contribs)
- @Wizardofoz30: The issue is not the notability of the artist, but the notability of the tour. Tours have their own notability guidelines(see WP:NTOUR) which state that a tour must have "significant coverage in multiple independent reliable sources". It further states "Such coverage might show notability in terms of artistic approach, financial success, relationship to audience, or other such terms". Sources that only state the the tour exists are not sufficient.(that's all I could find) I have proposed a merge with the article on the artist, which is what the guideline suggests if there is not enough sources for a standalone page. If it becomes notable in the future, this could always be restored. There is no rush. 331dot (talk) 15:23, 29 January 2017 (UTC)
