Poor Categorising? Lacks Information. Few minor complaints.
editCanadian Rapists is one of the categories this was under but not once is it mentioned that anything sexually explicit may have even taken place. So either it doesn't belong in that category or there is mass amounts of information missing. The article feels rushed.
"Early life
Allan Joseph Legere was born in Chatham, New Brunswick." This could easily have be slipped into the intro. It makes the article feel empty.
I also feel more detail could have been provided. Maybe a timeline? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.69.6.126 (talk) 05:40, 10 December 2013 (UTC)
No references
editNo references, added tag.--FloNight 15:42, 11 December 2005 (UTC)
Is it really appropriate that the references include a page from far-right lawyer Doug Christie? Would not an impartial news source - or even the original article, which Christie pulled from the Canadian Press, I believe - be a little less politically questionable? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.246.2.9 (talk • contribs)
- Unfortunately, the original canoe.ca article is from 2001, and has long since been taken down. We only have access to Christie's public copy. DS 14:21, 28 August 2007 (UTC)
"one of the first"
editOn the news this evening they referred to it as the "first". This should probably be clarified.--Crossmr (talk) 01:06, 24 December 2007 (UTC)
Was / Is
editIs it correct to say he "was" a serial killer when he is stil living? Wasisdas (talk) 07:05, 20 October 2008 (UTC)
Allan Legere was before his true diabolic self was revealed was what is known by many circles in the criminal and psychological fields was a " Sleep Watcher"...Someone who enters a persons home without disturbance and views a person asleep without detection..
Recently, several occurances have been happening depicting this same sort of crime in the Haifax, Nova Scotia area and this is very troublesome, for these incidents may ramp up to assault and even murder.. I hope the authorities are in tuned with those previous events and are stepping up police patrols and inquiries: for this individual may become more brazen in his (male obviously) intentions..
Allan Legere was moved from Quebec to Alberta
editAllan legere was transferred (amidst great controversy) from Canada's most secure unit in Quebec, to Edmonton Alberta's less secure unit. This occurred in 2015.

Citing new media?
editI don’t know how to add this, but Season 1, Episode 2 of the Peacock original series John Carpenter’s Suburban Screams is about Legere’s crimes. The episode title is “A Killer Comes Home”. 143.55.59.111 (talk) 05:18, 13 November 2023 (UTC)
