I just got reverted after trying to fudge my way in response to a query on Talk:Main Page that the ITN blurb on Sudan points to the SLA, rather than here. According to IRIN, there are three separate groups - two factions of the SLA and then the JEM. I haven't been following the details, but the article's definitive statement that the SLA and JEM have merged is clearly wrong in some major way.
