Title
editThe title "ADF insurgency" is confusing. ADF is widely known as "Australian Defence Force". For clarity, per WP:TITLE, I suggest "Allied Democratic Forces insurgency". Cheers, Peacemaker67 (crack... thump) 23:21, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

Timeline
editThe majority of the article is currently taken up by a timeline of the insurgency. It seems like it would be more encyclopedic to have a separate timeline article, similar to Timeline of the Israeli–Palestinian conflict or Timeline of the Syrian civil war, and replace the current timeline with a history section summarising the key events/elements/parts of the conflict. - The issue at hand is that the article is in actuality "Timeline of the Allied Democratic Forces insurgency" because most of its content is listed rather than written in prose. I do not think splitting the article is the solution, particularly because it would leave the main article quite bare and much smaller than the timeline article, which is contrary to the objective of a split. However, I recognise that rewriting the timeline into prose would be an enormous task for any editor, and I do not expect this issue to be remedied any time soon. Is the United States involved?
editThis article is categorized as a war involving the United States. However, from reading the article, it seems like we aren't significantly involved in this conflict. The United States imposed sanctions on some people, but otherwise, it seems like the US is staying out of this.
What is the justification for this category? [Edit: I just saw that it is also categorized as a war involving Ukraine. That is even more puzzling.] 2013creek (talk) 17:17, 9 July 2023 (UTC)
