Merger with main article
editThe article Allies doesn't really stand on its own, since the creation of separate articles Allies of World War I and Allies of World War II. I suggest that it merge with this page, incorporating what information it contains into a dab page format. Sections would address coalitions in war, the usage in identity politics, and miscellaneous topics such as works entitled "Allies". - Oppose, this is a disambiguation page that should help people find the article they are looking for. Not everyone looking up "allies" is thinking of the military use.DLHugsly (talk) 10:58, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
