Hi kids, the Mighty Obbop here. I use Alltheweb.com for picture searching. It is my belief that the results are better than the Google pic search. But, something seems to be going on. Clcik on www.alltheweb.com and a redirect leads to here: http://livesearch.alltheweb.com/ Is the old Alltheweb gone? I hope not!!!!! Obbop the Mighty told yah' this. 209.50.1.94 22:43, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Golly gosh, Alltheweb.com has altered their Web site. Instead of being taken to their "new improved site" when following the www.alltheweb.com URL the URL links to their "old" site. On their message board numerous Earth creatures complained about the new site format and it appears the "powers that be" decided to heed the requests that the old site style be the site that appears first. You can still click on a link to go to the new style site. Gotta' give credit to those Alltheweb folks for heeding their user's advice.68.13.191.153 14:50, 12 November 2006 (UTC)
Sorry Gone!
editDoes anyone know why any search on AllTheWeb that includes the word “mail” results in a page saying “Sorry Gone” and no search results?
I've been using AllTheWeb for at least 10 years now and still prefer it over any other (not that I've really given others a try). However, the above "Sorry Gone" comment is what brought me to this site as I was searching for more information too. I did report it to AllTheWeb many years ago, but apparently they don't care. I just discovered today the "Sorry Gone" message appears when searching on the word "reply" as well. This is actually becoming a pain when having to search for email issues. I really, really wish they'd fix it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 147.105.3.11 (talk) 17:19, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
Drop of audio search?
editDidn't alltheweb used to have a cool audio search? When was it dropped? Around 2005? Was it after yahoo! bought it? Or did it have to do with post-Napster copyright questions? --Escier (talk) 20:49, 21 March 2010 (UTC)
