Alma Brooks was a crucial partner to Rupert Kathner - her renown as risen in recent years since her appearance in the 2006 Australian movie Hunt Angels which revealed how much she contributed to his work. Also she and Kathner were often in legal trouble - they were a notorious filmmaking duo. I have increased the references and scope of the article.Dutchy85 (talk) 03:35, 8 March 2015 (UTC)

Notability, the criteria for inclusion into Wikipedia, is not inherited from others. The "references" only mention the subject in passing. These are trivial support items. reddogsix (talk) 03:49, 8 March 2015 (UTC)

Contested deletion

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because she was a significant contributor to the Australian film industry during the 1940s and 1950s, a crucial partner of Rupert Kathner. Little known at the time - in common with many crucial female contributors to the Australian film industry (histories tended to focus on men) - knowledge of her achievements has shot up in recent years, esp since the 2006 film "Hunt Angels" in which Brooks was played by Victoria Hill.
