Renewal or Cancelation

Any reason for cancelling, other than Fox being assholes? -They are also jackasses. Jackassholes?

Episode order

It appears (citation needed) that Fox is not initially showing the episodes "in order". Exactly what the proper order is, is anyone's guess at the moment (production code order is usually close, though.) They did show the pilot first. htom (talk) 03:45, 20 January 2014 (UTC)

Making it easier for people to watch the show is not the purpose of this page. It's an encyclopedia, not TV Guide. The table was redundant. All the information that is needed can be found on the page and the "intended" order can still be deduced from the production codes. -- SchrutedIt08 (talk) 23:05, 31 January 2014 (UTC)

(I don't know how to indent my reply, sorry) I can see your point, but I disagree. A quick look around Wikipedia (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Firefly_(TV_series)#Broadcast_history and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Batman:_The_Animated_Series_episodes) shows that Wikipedia has a strong interest in, and a precedent for, informing about indended episode orders. Not everyone knows there is an order discrepancy, or what production codes mean. I agree with 108.69.132.70. I found the intended order table very informative. Also, the intended order isn't necessarily obvious from the production codes (How would I know that 296844 comes before 2J7005?) Snowblindeye (talk) 02:01, 6 February 2014 (UTC)

The difference being that neither of those examples used an entirely separate table for the information. In the case of Firefly, the episode table was put in production order instead of broadcast order because of the home media releases, which re-ordered the episode into their intended assembly. There's no guarantee that will happen in the case of Almost Human. I have no gripe with noting that the episodes are out of order (which we have done), it's just that 90% of the intended order table (titles, air dates, production codes) was repeated information that could be found just as easily in the main episode table. As for the production codes, does it really take a genius to deduce the difference between a production code for a pilot and for a series episode? The rest of the production codes are numbered sequentially. Would it actually be difficult to figure out that 2J7005 comes after 2J7004 and before 2J7009? -- SchrutedIt08 (talk) 02:10, 6 February 2014 (UTC)
