All Primers are Alphabet books?

edit

Gee, from the redirect going from "primer(textbook)" to here, someone who isn't familiar with the terms might actually think that all primers are the same as Alphabet books (they're not). That's logically tantamount to someone typing in "fruit" and being redirected to "apple". There's also primers for mathematics, geography, geology, indeed, almost any subject. I'm becoming disillusioned at this kind of extreme austerity and minimalism at Wikipedia; this is a perfect example of how absurd it can be. Shanoman (talk) 06:29, 24 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

An Alphabet app is a sort of Alphabet book, but with interactive features. So this is the question: could be Primer be a digital? P.karnaukhov (talk) 14:58, 13 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

The article is still very American in outlook and emphasis; as if all History is teleologically directed towards the eventual appearance of the United States. This is not a good thing, especially in an article with supposedly universal application.
