I have read the article and this is going to be a fairly quick review, as the article is very close to GA standard.
Well-written
Article formatting (particular the lower sections) is less common but still readable and suitable.
Could "Life" section have a more standard and descriptive header - "Personal life and interests", perhaps?
"Life" is a perfectly standard header - see FA Vincent van Gogh for instance. Also, that section's more about his career and early life than anything else. I prefer to keep that seperated from his political activity in international languages and economic theory support, so I'm not sure about this one.
@Frzzl: Also a response to your comment below, two top-level sections for "Early life" and "Views" would work. And before you use that comparison elsewhere, it must be said that the van Gogh article separates "Life" (as header1 with sub-sections for early life and career and everything underneath) from other top-level sections about interpretations of his work and similar. I.e. it's a rather unusual situation and being used in a very different way to what this article is trying. Matejka's work in languages is undoubtedly part of his life, and seems to be the most important part.Kingsif (talk) 14:32, 26 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
OK, changed. - F
Would his support for economic freedom be more suitably noted in this section than in the 'intro' to the International languages section
See above - we could change the heading2 to 'Views' or similar and put it in a new subsection, putting all the other stuff under an 'International languages' heading3 - I'm not sure what to put the heading3 for the 'intro' as however since it's a more eclectic and wide-ranging set of opinions...
A few things about the following part: Matejka took on roles in several societies, and attended four congresses; for the next three years, he was a member fo the club in St. Gallen, and later joined the organisation in Paris. He was secretary of the Union for the International Language Ido (ULI) from 1929 to 1934, and its president in 1940 after he had moved to Paris. In 1934-35, Matekja was president of the national Swiss Ido society (Ido: Suisa Ido-Societo).
First, typos: "member fo the club" (of/for?) and "In 1934-35", which has the issue of needing to be either "From 1934 to 1935" or "Between 1934 and 1935" or similar. I'll also note that the rest of the article should be checked for the latter issue and, when giving a year span is appropriate, it should use an emdash, not a hyphen.
Clarity needed regarding "he was a member of the club in St. Gallen, and later joined the organisation in Paris" - what club/organisation? Do these terms refer to the same club/organisation. No club/organisation is specified beforehand. I assume it refers to the ULI (mentioned in the next sentence), but as the period being referred to is 1918–21, perhaps not.
Fixed all above - F
Is the See also section warranted? What connects Heinrich Nidecker to this article in a way that is more relevant than also being a Swiss interlinguist - and, if there is such a connection, would it not be reasonable for there to be coverage of Nidecker's connection to Matejka in the body text of the article?

Good
Coverage
Most sources discuss the subject in relation to his work on languages, so the focus in the article seems appropriate
Neutrality
Few statements that may be challenged, all well-sourced
Stability
Edit and talk page history show no signs of instability

Good use of quote box
Perhaps the image of the CDELI could be removed - it isn't the best photo in itself, and it relates to the shortest section in the article. The article is fairly short and does not really need it. Still, the image appears to be suitably licensed on Commons and is not really harming the article either.
Only two portals - perhaps a box would be more suitable than the bar
