Respectability factor
editThis tune was played by the band (presumably the Ron Goodwin orchestra) in at least one of the Goon Shows, which were the first radio series so popular that they could empty the pubs.
Since all three of the Goons had served in WW2, the tune must have been ruled acceptable by them, the BBC and Parliament. 86.171.217.68 (talk) 23:00, 15 September 2012 (UTC)
