Promotional content
editThis article has been tagged for promotional content without explanation or discussion. I would like to address any issues so I am coming here to ask for clarity on what part of this needs to be improved to fulfill Wikipedia:What_Wikipedia_is_not#Wikipedia_is_not_a_soapbox_or_means_of_promotion. Otherwise, I think the tag appears misplaced so I would like to remove it. PazSeguro (talk) 17:15, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- Well, PazSeguro, in this version, that "promotes itself as" is sketchy, as is the very last paragraph. Perhaps you could ping Graywalls. Drmies (talk) 17:37, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- @Drmies and PazSeguro:, just glancing over the contributions. The user's account screams public relations editing. Graywalls (talk) 17:39, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
- I thought the last paragraph stating that a pickup takes 10 minutes is a negative about Alto... I did not think calling it premium is incorrect since that is what it calls itself and what all the other sources reflect. I am new to this so if I am wrong then I want to fix it. - "Premium" is a WP:PEACOCK term and we generally shouldn't include PR in the very first sentence of an article. Words like this imply a lot without saying anything of substance. If reliable independent sources consistently describe it as premium or luxury or whatever, we could explain this in that context in the body of the article, but it would have to be in a way which is informative to readers, not merely repeating PR. - PazSeguro, we shouldn't state in our article what the company says about itself. We're not the Yellow Pages; we should be based on secondary sources. Thank you, Drmies (talk) 00:51, 6 November 2024 (UTC)
I didn't work on this article though. I commented since I was pinged. Graywalls (talk) 17:42, 5 November 2024 (UTC)
