editI suggest we have just one article on the company, rather than a separate article for Laclede Steel. Both are the same company, but just a new name. I think it would be better to have one longer article than two short stubs. --Aude (talk) 15:27, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
- Sounds good to me. Of course, I only saw this article after I had written a short stub for Laclede Steel. CloudNine 16:02, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
- That will work. Thanks for writing the stub. :) --Aude (talk) 16:14, 17 May 2007 (UTC)
Laclede Steel broke into pieces - this article may not be the right name
editLaclede Steel broke into pieces in the bankruptcy. Alton Steel is just one of the components. I think Laclede Steel should probably have its own history.14:26, 1 September 2012 (UTC)

editHello fellow Wikipedians,
I have just added archive links to one external link on Alton Steel. Please take a moment to review my edit. You may add {{cbignore}}
after the link to keep me from modifying it, if I keep adding bad data, but formatting bugs should be reported instead. Alternatively, you can add {{nobots|deny=InternetArchiveBot}}

- Attempted to fix sourcing for http://www.steelnews.com/companies/producers/laclede_archive.htm
When you have finished reviewing my changes, please set the checked parameter below to true or failed to let others know (documentation at {{Sourcecheck}}
