- Well the article should be renamed but only folks with special powers can do that. Getting back to the chemistry, in principle, multiple compounds have the generic name "aluminium bromide" but you're right that 99.99% of the time people mean AlBr3. Significant recent research has focused on species with the formula AlBr and AlB2, kinda surprising.--Smokefoot (talk) 15:01, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
