Hi all!

I just finished a copy-edit of the page for the GOCE Blitz, and I had a few comments to make. I think that overall, the page is a little overly-detailed or at least too advanced, if that makes sense. This being said, I am a chem student -- not an expert, but I know enough to understand that this page could be confusing to the uninitiated reader. I'd fix it, and I fixed as much as I could, but I don't feel confident in my skills to "dumb down" (for lack of a better term) this topic.

Specifically, the structure section needs some work. Some things in there just don't seem relevant, or they're based too much on the images at hand -- and while molecular geometry and VSPER are important, it doesn't make sense to put in pictures that are inaccurate and then talk about how inaccurate they are in the section. As I'm writing this, I'm realizing that may contradict my previous paragraph, but it just doesn't make sense to talk about how the model isn't advanced enough and provide an overwhelming amount of examples for other compounds. Throughout the article, I often had to remind myself and double-check what the topic actually was, if that says anything.

Overall, though, this is a pretty good article! ɯɐɔ 💬 03:52, 22 June 2017 (UTC)Reply
