Name of the article

This was a peasant movement. It can be called a rebellion or maybe even a revolt. But it can’t be called a Freedom (or Independence) movement or a Freedom struggle. This was an attempt to release the region from the British Raj and bring it under the rule of a native person (in this case a pretender or an imposter to a former dynasty). Mr Deviprasad Sampage, Hostorian wrote the book ‘Amara Sulliyada Swatantrya Sangrama, means Amara Sullia Freedom Movement detailing this early struggle for freedom, says it was a mass movement and not restricted to some villages or caste. -BHARATHESHA ALASANDEMAJALU (talk) 17:29, 15 November 2021 (UTC)

Can you please mention points from the book in this article which indicate the event was a mass movement. Individuals from various caste, lingual, religious and regional divisions were involved. Their names and their contributions need to be mentioned. The people of Kodagu and Canara (coastal Karnataka) were unhappy with the British for various reasons. In 1837 this anger turned to action for freedom and the British suffered a temporary defeats. The first sentence in the article mentions Arebhashe and Tulunadu. Only a Kannada dialect (Arebhashe) and a region (Tulunadu) are mentioned. There is no mention of other languages (Tulu and Kodava) or regions (Kodagu). Could you please edit the article and include the same with evidence. KangaZoo (talk) 16:20, 23 December 2021 (UTC)
