Conflicting end-date for series
editThe introductory text of the article has this to say: The series spans a thirty-eight year period from 1884 to 1922 and also this: the point at which it currently ends, in 1923 ...does someone know which is correct? Stefan Kruithof (talk) 15:22, 29 December 2008 (UTC)
It is 1923. I've updated the introductory text.Khowaga (talk) 17:38, 22 January 2009 (UTC)
Image copyright problem with File:CrocodileOTS1stedition.png
editThe image File:CrocodileOTS1stedition.png is used in this article under a claim of fair use, but it does not have an adequate explanation for why it meets the requirements for such images when used here. In particular, for each page the image is used on, it must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Please check

Ordering
editThe headings "Preceded by" and "Followed by" in the info boxes for each novel are ambiguous. From 2004 (Guardian of the Horizon) onwards, Elizabeth Peters began writing novels fitting into chronological gaps between earlier published novels. This created a discrepancy between publication order and chronological order. I have amended the entries in the info boxes to reflect internal chronological order, since this is likely to be of more interest to the average reader wanting to follow the characters through their development. Publication order is probably of more limited interest, restricted to those wanting to study the novels as literary productions, rather than parts of a larger narrative.
