American College of Physician Executives → American Association for Physician Leadership – We have rebranded our organization from the American College of Physician Executives to the American Association for Physician Leadership and would like Wikipedia to reflect this name change. A full explanation behind our name change is listed here. --Relisted. Andrewa (talk) 08:13, 27 October 2014 (UTC) --Relisted. Survey
edit- Oppose but relisting again. No rationale provided in terms of WP:AT. We are not the association's website. I have posted [1] a heads-up to nom inviting them to present a valid case if one can be made. Andrewa (talk) 09:25, 27 October 2014 (UTC)
Discussion
editIf this move does not proceed, we should of course create a redirect from American Association for Physician Leadership per WP:official names#Where there is an official name that is not the article title. Andrewa (talk) 15:26, 27 October 2014 (UTC)

I have moved the page; more recent sources (obviously) all reflect the name change, so that's probably by now the title it's best known under. Compare for example coverage of their recent ACA survey: [2] Huon (talk) 22:52, 5 August 2015 (UTC)
Merge of Physician Executive into this article
edit- Oppose merge: Headbomb, I PRODed this with reason "Can't find any mention of this journal on the website of the association. The external link given goes to a placeholder page unrelated to this journal." In fact, I could not find anything about it. How can we merge if the association's own website does not even mention this journal? --Randykitty (talk) 18:03, 28 January 2024 (UTC)
- The fact remains that there's nothing that can be merged, the only source in the article being a dead link... --Randykitty (talk) 22:49, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
- I've boldly redirected, as there was no referenced content to merge. I suggest building journal content on the association page. Klbrain (talk) 20:11, 6 August 2024 (UTC)
