Mama-Ji
editKali is not a minor character. We just found out her diners exist all across America, as places where the gods, both old and new, can find one another, and that she is present at every one of these hubs. I think this is significant. Especially as the theme for this season is their loss of, and search for, a queen or queens. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 23:18, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
- I'm putting it in the character description, it does not fit in the plot summary, which is meant to be as concise as possible. The Ozzy Mandias (talk) 23:26, 4 April 2019 (UTC)
- OK, that works: thanks. I've also indicated that the "diner in Wisconsin" is a Motel America. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 17:37, 5 April 2019 (UTC)
Deletion and archiving of Technical Boy
editThe first description of this said he was "sealed" by Mr. World, which made no sense. In the scene he's fleeing down the hallway as the screens show his data/existence is being deleted. Then he is captured and what remains of him is locked into what looks like some kind of small storage device (The Box?). I'm not attached to the word "archived", but it's clear he's imprisoned in some form of data storage object. I think they're leaving open the option that he can return, but he's clearly not operational or able to access the internet now. We're describing episodes so, unless there's an article about the episode that describes this more clearly, that we can cite, I think it's on us to figure out what to call this. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 19:44, 6 April 2019 (UTC)
Looking at the scene again. It's about 50 minutes in. The object that attacks Technical Boy unfolds into what looks like a Virtual Reality headset, that jumps onto his head, then some sort of weirdness happens with his eyes, then it locks down, presumably with TB in it. Who knows, beyond that. It's open to interpretation. The Ozzy Mandias since you flagged it but haven't discussed it, I'm going to take it back to one of the earlier phrasings. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 23:49, 7 April 2019 (UTC)
- Mr. World says in the episode "I retired a god today", that's why I put retired there. The whole deleting/archiving thing sounds like users trying to interpret what they saw and I was trying to get rid of all that and focus on facts. I'm fine with how it is now. The Ozzy Mandias (talk) 01:50, 8 April 2019 (UTC)
- Yeah, sorry for the confusion. I thought the deletion of data was significant to mention (and the screens do say that data is being deleted, as he sprints down the corridor), as he basically consists of data. But I rewatched the scene and I also saw that bit you quote, so I put that back in. I agree, the scene is confusing and surreal enough without us trying to interpret it. Citation Templates
editOK, discussion on sourcing on an article actually belongs on article talk. Esuka, it's not overlinking to fill out template parameters thoroughly. I can see that in the diffs it can tend to look like overlinking if there are different citations that mention the same author. But those are all different citations. There's no reason to leave template parameters blank just because it will look repetitive at a cursory glance in a diff. - CorbieV ☊ ☼ 00:22, 9 April 2019 (UTC)
