Highlighting
editShould we have the names of all of the contestants highlighted as they are when most just link right back to this very page? Michael 04:06, 8 July 2006 (UTC)
- No, too many highlights make the article look messy. Important contestant would have their own articles (apart from Rickey Smith), the others are unimportant. Hzh (talk) 10:40, 13 February 2021 (UTC)
Recent theme week changes
editRecently User:Mamasaidnakuout made changes to some of the theme week. I reverted his/her changes but they were changed back twice without him/her responding to my concerns on their talk page. So I am bringing my concerns here to see if anyone else agreed with me.
The changes were from Movie Hits to Movie Soundtracks and Country-Rock to Country. Aspects (talk) 04:39, 21 February 2008 (UTC)
- With no objections in over a month from User:Mamasaidnakuout or anyone else, I am going to change the themes back to the way they were. Aspects (talk) 18:41, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
- I have decided that it is pointless to argue in a long drawn out edit war of whether Movie Hits or Movie Soundtracks is correct since I am not 100% sure, but I will continue to change Country back to Country-Rock because I know that was the theme that week. Aspects (talk) 22:37, 17 June 2008 (UTC)
- I have now provided a link referencing Country Rock as the theme week. Aspects (talk) 18:22, 26 July 2008 (UTC)
Corey Clark's disqualification
editI have noticed that Corey Clark was disqualified from the show due to his police record. Why would we add red to the color key for a disqualification? J4lambert (talk) 00:02, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
- The chart on this page has never had red, all eliminations in the semi-finals have been grey, all eliminations in the wild card round are yellow and all eliminations in the finals are tan. The table already has a note explaining the disqualification, so the red color is unnecessary. You also do not support your reason why you think red should be used in your paragraph and in fact your question seems to question why red should be used. You seem to be adding color just for the sake of adding color, the table is already clear the way it is. As such, I am going to revert the color back to tan. Aspects (talk) 11:37, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
