Should "POM Wonderful" be repeated every time it is mentioned?
editI get it. POM paid lots of money. They stuck their logo all over the set. They somehow managed to get their name on the Best Run of the Night award. So sure, they would want references to their wonderful company and product plastered all over the page about the event they sponsored, including not only every single time the award is mentioned, but HOTLINKED in a way which is distracting and confers undue visibility and importance on "POM Wonderful".
I disagree. I believe the note that they sponsored the award, if it's so incredibly important, can occur ONCE, or as on the page for the previous season, in the legend for the results for each city.
If someone like the person that reverted my changes believes it's so amazingly critical to replicate their branding all over the page, could you not at least take responsibility for making sure the punctuation/markup/linking is consistent for every mention? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Rtmyers (talk • contribs) 16:27, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
- It should not be linked every time it mentioned, no. But it is the name of the award, it is not our place to change the name of the award, thats not what wikipedia does. - GalatzTalk 17:35, 2 April 2018 (UTC)
