A fact from Americans for Responsible Solutions appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 7 November 2013 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that the founders of gun-control organization Americans for Responsible Solutions, Gabrielle Giffords and Mark Kelly, are gun owners?

I have re-created and developed the article a little. Soon after it was created (Jan. 8), it was submitted for deletion - on Jan. 22 by an editor who has since been blocked indefinitely, and again on Feb. 6 by the same editor with a sockpuppet account. The first AfD was closed. After the second, it was decided to merge the article with the Gabrielle Giffords article, with the last commenter saying, "No prejudice against re-creation of article if significant coverage expands to meet notability threshold in the subject's own right."
The article has reached that point. First, it was never just Giffords' organization, but also that of Mark Kelly, but second, and more importantly, it has been covered regularly by third-party sources since its founding, as citations now show.
On the advice of another user (admin) I added this article to Did you know nominations. I've never done that before, so - patience please. Hope I did it right.

The organization has changed its named from Americans for Responsible Solutions to simply Giffords, with apparently subgroups named 'Giffords Law Center' and 'Giffords PAC'. Not sure how to address these changes in the article, or what the formal name of the article should now be. Anastrophe (talk) 17:53, 30 November 2017 (UTC)Reply
Law Center mission As a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit, Giffords Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence is invited by legislators to testify at state and local legislative hearings examining proposed violence prevention measures. We also provide advice and comment to help legislators and their staff formulate and implement new laws. – wbm1058 (talk) 18:09, 27 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
About Giffords So there are actually three legal organizations:
Giffords comprises three core entities—each with a distinct function, all working together to fight gun violence:
