Hazard

edit

http://cameochemicals.noaa.gov/chemical/3462 says "The primary hazard is the threat to the environment. Immediate steps should be taken to limit its spread to the environment." What exactly is the hazard and how may it be neutralized?— Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.193.194.181 (talk) 20:42, 13 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Major revision

edit

This revision is based, primarily, on the availability of a crystal structure. Reference to the US patent has been removed as it obviously described impure samples. The patent states that the brown form contains iron oxide.

The chem box will need some attention as I have not been able to verify that the citations it contains refer to the title compound and not the impure substance of the patent. Petergans (talk) 11:53, 5 December 2015 (UTC)Reply

Any citations for the solubility claim?

edit

I looked at some of the 3 citations and couldn't find anything that supported the claim that it is significantly more soluble in water than ferric citrate. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 104.193.28.44 (talk) 15:01, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Chemical structure picture is misleading

edit

The structure diagram shows the protonated form of citrate (C6H5O7), while for this salt, the citrate is in a deprotonated form (C6H4O7) as correctly stated in the article text. It would be more accurate if someone could change the image to show the deprotonated form of citrate as opposed to the protonated form. Mingusaum (talk) 17:35, 8 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
