I have heard that the character on the cover is actually supposed to be Rev. Henry Kane from the Poltergeist films rather than Randall Flagg. It resembles Kane much more, and Benante has even denied the use of Flagg, as the article states. I seem to recall Scott Ian claiming that Rev. Kane is the scariest character he had ever seen, or something to that effect (and thus used his image), but I cannot find a reference to that currently. I do not know how to add citations to the article but I added the statement, and a reference to the statement can be found at http://www.last.fm/music/Anthrax/Among+The+Living/+wiki. Please, anyone who is more familiar, cite the reference according to policy. Mal7798 (talk) 14:46, 29 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
Citation 7 is used for "the album is dedicated to cliff burton". Cliff isn't even mentioned in the citation. It does support the previous sentence though, about benante talking about anthrax seminal album. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 193.90.175.221 (talk) 20:28, 18 December 2018 (UTC)Reply
