This article is remiss on certain elements of Amstrad's history. It should be clearer that all early Amstrad products were in fact manufactured in CHINA, then shipped into the UK AFTER orders were received and rebranded "Amstrad". This was not a British Hi Fi "company", like Leak or Quad, in fact it was not a British Hi Fi company in any sense of the word.
