Re: Merging with Mutton Birds

edit

The song is notable on its own for a number of reasons: (see http://www.nzonscreen.com/title/anchor-me-1995) the original won an APRA Silver Scroll for songwriting and was featured as one of the APRA Top 100 New Zealand Songs of All Time, then was remade for the charity cover, and then attracted controversy for being used by National. I think that it should be 'Anchor Me (Muttonbirds song)' if anything.

I've just done a big update, adding heaps of text and references. From this, I think that "Anchor Me" is a significant song in the Mutton Birds discography, and also notable for the Greenpeace cover. For this reason, I don't think a merge is needed. Robyn2000 (talk) 07:01, 27 October 2013 (UTC)Reply

Song or single?

edit

Is the article about a song or a 4-track single? Nurg (talk) 08:26, 25 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
