Mestizo style

edit

I found the following section in the article

==Mestizo style== The ''mestizo style'' is the application of an American particular decoration to European structural forms, according to [[Bolívar Echeverría]]: {{quote | "To rescue the social life of the threat of barbarism, and it was impossible to rebuild their ancient worlds, so complex and so fragile, that indigenous layer defeated undertaken in practice, spontaneously, without trumpeting plans or projects, reconstruction or re-creation of European civilization -Iberian- in America. | Key Latin American baroque. }}

I think this is out of context, since the relationship between Andean Baroque and Mestizo style is not clear in this text. —Chiton (talk) 23:22, 18 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Sibayo or Silvayo

edit

When article refers to the Churches of the Colca Valley and mentions a town called Silvayo is it the actual intention to refer to the Sibayo District Any thoughts or suggestions would be much apprecitated. Cheers!RichardMills65 (talk) 01:46, 24 December 2012 (UTC)Reply
