I am a new editor at Wikipedia and a great fan of Andrea Camilleri, I would like to spend some time reading and editing this article if needed. Any comment or feedback would be appreciated.--Shyguy1oh1 (talk) 21:19, 24 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

The article deals well with Camilleri's accomplishment as a writer, director, etc. However, it lacks personal information. Camilleri was "born of woman," had a mother and father, a hometown, experiences at school, married, and he has children and grandchildren. The article needs a section labeled Personal Life. There is an RfC on the question of using "Religion: None" vs. "Religion: None (atheist)" in the infobox on this and other similar pages.

The RfC is at Template talk:Infobox person#RfC: Religion infobox entries for individuals that have no religion.

Please help us determine consensus on this issue. --Guy Macon (talk) 19:55, 23 April 2015 (UTC)Reply

Up-to-date

edit

This article shows what an up-to-date encyclopedia Wikipedia can be - it already has the date of Camilleri's death in on the date of his death (July 17 2019). However, the talk page still has the tag saying "must conform to the policy of biographies of living persons". Can this be removed now, or does this tag still remain for a few days in the case of recent deaths? Vorbee (talk) 17:33, 17 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
