editAsaturn your information is simply untrue! What you call "pig nose" was designed by an external design company based in Spain-Barcelona(Zapatinas had no connection to that company). It was approved by Subaru board 6 months before Zapatinas arrival in Subaru!Try to hold writing comments on matters that you have, obviously, very incomplete information about.Reading a couple of articles here and there do not guarantee such inside Knowledge.(Yoji Takenaka was Subaru's president at that time,he was not a designer by any stretch of the imagination) —Preceding unsigned comment added by Automotive info (talk • contribs) 18:21, 23 June 2008 (UTC)
Zapatinas WAS responsible for the "pig nose" Subarus!
editI don't know who wrote that he was "wrongly credited" with designing the pig/propeller nosed Subarus when he in fact was THE GUY responsible (he was head of the design team from 2002-2006) and even had personally-designed Subaru concepts that never made it, all of which featured this grille design.
He's also responsible for the R1e/R2, and B5-TPH as well as the B9/B11S Scrambler (a RWD Subaru Boxer-powered roadster that was never made) ... jointly designed with Yoji Takenaka.
All of this is information you can read on Car Design News.
