Article created following the advice on the WikiProject Plants page about notability for botanists, specifically that being the authority for a species (26 in Erst's case) is a form of notability in itself. Jacketpocket (talk) 13:09, 27 March 2025 (UTC)Reply

While I have a bit of a mixed opinion of the WP Plants guideline regarding notability (it seems a tad more liberal than that afforded to other fields), I agree that Erst clearly satisfies the WP Plants standards. I have removed the relevant tag. ~ Pbritti (talk) 13:54, 27 March 2025 (UTC)Reply
