Gallagher quote
editI'm not a native english speaker so I daren't change it. But isn't Gallagher saying (at the end of Shakermaker): "Fuck all that Noel and Liam shit. Can I have everybody singing 'Who the fuck is Andy Bell?' " Masken 20:19, 18 May 2006 (UTC)
- Checking now......clarified, that's exactly what he'd be saying. I'll change it. --Bang bang you're dead 18:00, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Photograph
editIf someone has a usable photograph that will not be deleted it would be appreciated. Even a simple picture taken by yourself is fine. --Bang bang you're dead 18:05, 7 June 2006 (UTC)
Swedish
editIt seems like Bell has a lot of swedish influence in his life (His wife, house, friends, etc.) so does he speak swedish? Just wondering... —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ukpride16 (talk • contribs) 17:46, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, he does. —Preceding unsigned comment added by VsanoJ (talk • contribs) 19:10, 3 April 2008 (UTC) VsanoJ (talk) 19:16, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
...by the way...is he really divorced?? Any sources?? 64.203.182.109 (talk) 19:52, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
it's sourced, Q Magazine October 2008, it says. I was surprised to read that, it must be quite recent - I saw him DJing in the UK in early 2007 and Idha was with him. Scatterkeir (talk) 13:34, 6 November 2008 (UTC)
Clean up
editThis article is a joke. The amount of spelling errors, typos, and irrelevant information is staggering. needs cleaned up bad, but I'm not the man to do it. --A Chain Of Flowers (talk) 22:33, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Requested move 16 June 2023
edit- The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review after discussing it on the closer's talk page. No further edits should be made to this discussion.
The result of the move request was: moved to Andy Bell (Welsh musician). Rough consensus that nationality is the best way to disambiguate here. There was also some support for adding Andy Bell (singer)'s nationality to his DAB, but I'm leaving that article at its current title for now, per WP:RMCI#Only move involved pages. (closed by non-admin page mover) ModernDayTrilobite (talk • contribs) 18:02, 3 July 2023 (UTC)
Andy Bell (musician) → ? – Ambiguity with Andy Bell (singer). Suggest moving to either Andy Bell (Welsh musician) or Andy Bell (musician, born 1970). 2A00:23C6:880C:E101:2880:2F74:9857:2545 (talk) 20:30, 16 June 2023 (UTC)
- Comment. Seems unnecessary. There are already hatnotes on each article for any reader who happens to end up at the wrong article, and it seems unlikely that many people will know in advance they want someone born in Wales rather than England or the one born in 1970 and not 1964. Station1 (talk) 03:59, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- Would support moving the main title headers of entries for both singer-songwriters. Andy Bell (musician) → Andy Bell (Welsh musician) and Andy Bell (singer) → Andy Bell (English musician). Alternatively, if preferred by consensus, I would likewise support Andy Bell (musician) → Andy Bell (Welsh singer) and Andy Bell (singer) → Andy Bell (English singer). —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 04:20, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- Comment Is "Welsh" the best choice here? He was born in Cardiff, but Ride is not a Welsh band, and nothing in the article suggests he has any ties to Wales. 162 etc. (talk) 16:50, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- The lede sentence of the article states, "Andrew Piran Bell (born 11 August 1970) is a Welsh singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and DJ.", while the lede sentence of the other article states, "Andrew Ivan Bell (born 25 April 1964) is an English singer-songwriter and lead singer of the synth-pop duo Erasure."
- Typing "Andy Bell Welsh born in Cardiff" does show connections to Wales, but consensus will ultimately decide whether Andy Bell (musician) → Andy Bell (Welsh musician) or Andy Bell (musician) → Andy Bell (Welsh singer) would appropriately disambiguate him from the English Andy Bell. —Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 23:45, 17 June 2023 (UTC)
- Support Andy Bell (English singer) (only known as a singer, so specificity is best) and Andy Bell (Welsh musician). Consistency is unnecessary. -- Necrothesp (talk) 13:12, 19 June 2023 (UTC)
