He has (for sure) played (synths or bass) on Speak and Spell, A Broken Frame, and Playing the Angel. After Enjoy the Silence there is a short interlude that features him shouting "Crucified!" As for the rest, I'm sure he has been envolved, but most of the albums from the mid 80's to early 90's were sequenced. (case and point: People Are People) 101 will feature Andy playing live.

I know it may seem that he's just there to walk around the stage and clap, but he does and has played in the past. And he does more playing, now that Depeche has eliminated most of their use of backing tapes. Human historian 20:17, 29 November 2006 (UTC)

The article says Fletch sang backing vocals on "Barrell of a Gun" and "Sun and the Rainfall". Is there sources for these claims?

Andy Fletcher does not play bass on Songs Of Faith And Devotion

The article states that he plays the bass on "Songs Of Faith And Devotion" which he does not. If you watch the documentary "We Were Going to Live Together, Record Together and it Was Going to be Wonderful" on the 2006 re-release it states that Alan Wilder plays the bass. Andy Fletcher was absent from much of the recording and only contributed (in one way or another) to the three songs recorded in Madrid. The documentary mentions Alan Wilder playing the bass when they were jamming to get basic ideas for the tracks, it does not say much about who did what on the actual recordings (except for the obvious Alan being on drums).

I have now seen that the place of death has been changed from London to Brighton, East Sussex, England. I can't find any press reports that is reporting this? If somebody knows the place of death then they'll also known the cause. Claim about Devotional Tour is inaccurate

The band was not down to three people (Gahan, Gore, and Fletcher) at that time. Alan Wilder was still in the band and would not leave until a year after the tour had concluded, on June 1, 1995. The tensions experienced during that tour, and the unfair distribution of work (the bulk of which fell on Wilder due to his musical proficiency and strength in studio production, as well as the personal issues plaguing the other three members at the time) contributed to him leaving. 173.48.65.104 (talk) 23:25, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
