Untitled
editI can't edit this, somebody put that Andy Hurley dropped out of Menomonee Falls High School, got his GED, went to WCTC (Waukesha County Technical College) for 1 semester.
Also, he met Pete Wentz when Andy was 16 at a rock show.
Also, he had some issues with drugs when he was 13-14 (early 15) and was told by a drug counsellor that he couldn't stop doing drugs. This helped him start his Straight Edge lifestyle.
All information gathered from Andy Hurley himself at Menomonee Falls High School on May 13, 2008.
Hypocrite
editSo what he does contradicts his beliefs but "he's got to make a living". Well, the last time I checked, he definitely could find himself a little plot up in northern Wisconsin, subsist farm, composting his own waste, and basically live a "anarcho-primitivist" life style now. What's the hold up?
I have no doubt that he dearly would love everybody to live his idealistic lifestyle, just exempting himself "for now". Just another "first among equals" that every such ideal creates. God bless him. Just like Gore criss-crossing the globe in his jets to tell everyone else how to live. --12.28.101.34 (talk) 13:27, 19 May 2008 (UTC)
- Farming?! He believes in an anti-agriculture ideology, and you think he should be farming?!... It doesn't make any sense to me. Anyways, I don't see how he is a hypocrite since he is not really judging other peoples lifestyles. He believes that mass scale organization is an unsustainable way for humans to live. This is a perspective in social sciences that is of legitimate discussion as any other. I don't see how this has to be turned into a new age lifestyle.
- Anarcho-primitivism is a political/social movement, and you need to address it as such. As a primitivist, he believes that our need to hunt and gather has been taken from us. If your advise is for him to hunt and gather, you are simply just not addressing the issue. Maziotis (talk) 09:14, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

editI find it funny this page was heavily vandalized and nothing was done about it. Let's work on that, shall we? --Bottle-Of-Musical-Joy (talk) 23:58, 25 November 2008 (UTC)
