This page should not be speedy deleted because its a stub started to begin a historical article discussing the development of target rifles around the world. This rifle is not in production any more and therefore provides no commercial value to anyone. I have started work on the article which should make this more apparent.

How is this notable? What are your sources? Any citations for your assertions? Maybe you should work on the article off-line and post it when it complies with policy. -- Alexf(talk) 22:21, 10 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
As far as I can tell it is notable because it is referenced in articles in the target shooting press. The sources are available but are being obtained from Australia. It makes sense to start the article on line because I am drawing information from around the world, mainly in Australasia, and it allows contributors to make direct access to the article as it develops and contribute accordingly. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Watcher328 (talkcontribs) 08:12, 11 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
I declined the speedy deletion request because it doesn't apply to objects, like guns. But a warning, all articles on Wikipedia must be verifiable, by citing sources within the article. If you must develop the article online, it should be done in your user space first, such as at User:Watcher328/Angel Rifles. As the article is now, with no sources at all, it still runs the risk of being deleted if sources can't be found. -- Atama 21:18, 11 May 2011 (UTC)Reply
