I will be reviewing this article, comments will probably be finished in the next 72 hours! Good luck to the editors! Arconning (talk · contribs) 10:22, 5 March 2024 (UTC)
- @Riley1012 I apologize for the incredibly long wait, everything else will be addressed sooner or later! Here are the issues I've found so far, hope they can be addressed. Thank you. Arconning (talk) 14:34, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
Prose
edit- I heavily suggest using timephrases such as "the following year", "after a month", "a few days after". So that the article can look more like an article rather than a timeline for the information needed.
- After the World Championships, Melnikova competed at the Arthur Gander Memorial in Chiasso, Switzerland., sentences like these are very much welcome.
- I've made some prose changes. Feel free to take a look and make additional suggestions. -Riley1012 (talk) 17:36, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
Lede
edit- Adding:
- At the 2020 Tokyo Olympics she led, add comma after Olympics.
- Individually Melnikova is a two-time Olympic medalist,, add comma after Individually.
Personal life
edit- Possibly rename to Early and personal life since it's short to be separated into two different sections.
- She speaks English and is also studying Italian., add As of [DATE] for the "studying Italian" part. See MOS:CURRENT.
- This information isn't particularly relevant anyways, I've taken it out. -Riley1012 (talk) 17:36, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
- Expand, take out more information from the articles (or find more information, but that's up to you) to make the paragraph arranged.

- Replace refs [47], [51], [61], [73], [85], [102], and [106]. Articles from TASS are considered to be generally unreliable sources. See WP:TASS.
- @Arconning: I think it would be difficult for me to replace these sources (and if I did, it would likely be from other Russian state-sponsored media). I can see why TASS should not be used for political topics, but I don't think political bias is a factor here. What these sources are being used for is to show who was named to certain teams, who was injured, who won a certain medal, etc. Let me know what you think.
- Fair enough. Conditional pass.

- Hopefully replace ref [1], article seems dodgy. There are probably more sources with the subject's height.
- There are conflicting reports on her height, so I've just removed it. -Riley1012 (talk) 17:36, 13 March 2024 (UTC)
