Latin form of name
editIn bibliographic circles the subject is commonly referred to by the Latin form of his name - Angelus de Clavasio. I have added a sentence to introduce this, also created a redirect from the Latin form to this page.. Supporting evidence comes from the linked edition of his 'Summa'.John M Brear (talk) 18:01, 10 May 2014 (UTC)
First edition of the Summa
editIs there other evidence for a 1476 date for the first edition of the Summa... ? Does this refer to its production in manuscript? Searching the British Library Incunabula Short Title Catalogue gives the earliest printed edition as 1486 (printed by de Suico in Chivasso - apparently the only incunabulum printed there). I have a copyright-free image of a page from the 1486 which I will upload if nobody objects.John M Brear (talk) 18:09, 10 May 2014 (UTC)
I have been bold and amended the first edition date, following the ISTC. I have also added some background to the origin of the work as there may be some confusions with Bartholomew of San Concordio's earlier work with the same title.John M Brear (talk) 12:45, 11 May 2014 (UTC)
