Etymology Angelslo
editIt would be very interesting to read an explanation of the word Angel. In Dutch the words Angelen and Engelen refer to the Germanic people of the Angles. Does that also apply to the toponym Angelslo? If that is the case, did the territory of the Angles at the time extend as far as the modern province of Drenthe in the Netherlands?
