The 2005 swings/changes are taken from 2001. However the 2005 Angus was heavily changed from the seat created in 1997 and used in 2001, so this is not a fair comparison. The pre 2005 seat did not have Kirriemuir and Forfar for example (which were in North Tayside), while Carnoustie and Monifieth moved to Dundee East. My memory is that the 2001 notional result calculation had this as a close SNP win over Conservative and that the 2005 result would have been a swing to the SNP (although I know locally there was debate about how accurate the notional figure was). Generally where there is substantial change the articles take this into account, so I would suggest doing changes on the 2001 notional for the post 2005 boundaries (if it can be located) or leaving the change figures and swing out. You make a fair point. The "standard" across other UK constituency pages in to put the 2001 notional results AND the change figures as far as i can tell.
