Cracroft's Peerage lists this peerage [1], and notes that the 13th Duke's son is likely not to succeed him, with the 13th Duke's heir apparent being his younger brother Kimble. It has been suggested elsewhere that the 13th Duke has yet to present proof of his succession to the Lord Chancellor for inclusion on the Roll of the Peerage, and so is not officially recognised as the successor - and is indeed not listed in the Roll; however, he succeeded to the title two years before the relevant Letter Patent, and so the matter might not be settled. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Philculmer (talk • contribs) 20:49, 14 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
