First paragraph claims
editWe need an independent source for the claim "Animal Aid is the United Kingdom's second largest animal rights group and one of the longest established in the world..." Ermintrude 15:59, 18 January 2006 (UTC)
Well, it is now shown as 'the largest' with no citation although it is on Animal Aids own website [1]. When it was shown as the second, out of interest, who was the first? 195.92.40.49 13:58, 19 September 2006 (UTC)
NPOV
editI've restored an earlier version of this article, as it was turning into something they might have on their own website. The article needs to be reasonably well written and not overflowing with praise and endless details about campaigns. SlimVirgin (talk) 00:51, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
- The previous version included "Our school video puts the moral and scientific arguments against animal experimentation," which I take it means someone simply copied and pasted material from the Animal Aid website, and that's exactly what the article read like. SlimVirgin (talk) 00:58, 27 September 2006 (UTC)
The section on campaigns includes this snippet: "Millions of animals have lost their lives in human wars, but are rarely mentioned in remembrance ceremonies. The purple poppy aims to rectify this," which reads like something lifted from their own website. The section seems short as it is - what should be done about this? Fair use rationale for Image:Animal Aid logo.jpg
editImage:Animal Aid logo.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.
Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 20:25, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
