City that the journal is based in?

I just realised that city the journal is based in is omitted from this article. SmallEditsForLife (talk) 22:42, 10 November 2011 (UTC)

• That's intentional. What is the city that the journal is based in? The city where the editor-in-chief works? Where the publisher's offices are? Where the typesetters work? Where the printers produce the journal? Even journals belonging to national societies like this one are nowadays produced completely internationally and almost everything is done electronically, so it is basically impossible to say which city should be listed/named. Most of the time, given how international scientific journals are, it is not even appropriate to list a country... --Crusio (talk) 05:27, 11 November 2011 (UTC)

    • It depends on what you call the "city of publication", as I have tried to explain above. Given the way journals are nowadays produced, listing any such city would be arbitrary (and rather useless info anyway). --Crusio (talk) 21:07, 11 November 2011 (UTC)
