Anisole/Anis-oil?!
editI came to this page via the German Wikipedia and I wonder about some details in this description. As I am to have Anisol (i.e. Methoxybenzene) on my desk before me.. there is definitely NO pleasant smell or smell of anis seed. Anisol in Germany is indicated irritable and cancerogene.. so, are we talking about the same thing? I also wonder about the insect pheromone..Can anybody help me? Umg
Cleanup
editCould someone please clean up this article? The text is nigh unreadable. And should this really be in the Food and Drink portal? Geemer (talk) 02:08, 25 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yes... Food and Drink portal makes very little sense... I came here following a recommendation of using Anisol as a solvent for Polymethyl methacrylate. Andypreston (talk) 13:35, 1 February 2023 (UTC)
