This page should confirm or deny that Anita Borg's name is a possible source of the name of "The Borg" on Star Trek. This question is asked in practically every article on the net about her. (Of course, another possible source of the name is "cyborg".) Doubtful. A Borg hotel exists off US101 a little North of where Anita lived, but neither had anything to do with each other. Near Coyote Point which does raise an issue: Anita did like to windsurf. 8^) 99.11.227.190 (talk) 18:14, 14 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
