I'll review this. Comments in a few days. Sasata (talk) 23:14, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks Sasata, much appreciated. :) Keilana|Parlez ici 23:46, 25 October 2012 (UTC)
- consider putting a year in the picture if available
- The Royal Society doesn't give a year, not sure where else to find it. :( Keilana|Parlez ici 17:13, 29 October 2012 (UTC)
- the subject is tied to the UK, so British English should be used (honor->honour)
- Honor/honour was the only one I could find; did you see any others? Keilana|Parlez ici 21:37, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- I changed WWI to Second World War; that's all I see. Sasata (talk) 01:32, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- Ooh, didn't catch that. Thanks. Keilana|Parlez ici 04:18, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

- possibly useful links: Bachelor's of Science, master's degree, Sydney J. Hickson (he's notable, and redlinks are ok), nuclear division
- Linked all of those, and Sydney J. Hickson is coming soon to an encyclopedia near you! :) Keilana|Parlez ici 21:40, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- who awarded the John Dalton Natural History Prize?
- Manchester University, clarified that. Keilana|Parlez ici 21:42, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- the Haines 2001 and Ogilvie 2000 sources say her father was a cabinet or furniture maker
- Yeah, that was in the Royal Society source too. I've put that in now. Keilana|Parlez ici 21:49, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- should mention that her Cambridge D.Sc. was in title only as official degree were not given to females at that time
- mention that she worked under David Keilin at Cambridge (looks like she named the parasite after him!)
- Done, cited to Ogilvie. Keilana|Parlez ici 22:00, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- the British Society for Parasitology now awards a "Ann Bishop Travelling Award", sound like it'd be worthy of a mention (see here)
- That's awesome, it's now mentioned at the end of the article. Keilana|Parlez ici 22:00, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- how about a publications list? Even "Selected publications" if the former would be too long.
- I've listed 10; her official Royal Society biography lists 62, which is obviously too many. How many do you think is appropriate? Keilana|Parlez ici 22:27, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- Looks like a pretty good selection there currently. Sasata (talk) 01:32, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

- did she described any other new species? Does she have a zoological author abbreviation?
- None of that was mentioned in any of my sources. Keilana|Parlez ici 22:00, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- According to WORMS, it's "Bishop"; should add this using Template:Zoologist. Sasata (talk) 01:32, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

- link somewhere to List of female Fellows of the Royal Society
- Done in the lead. Keilana|Parlez ici 22:44, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- the ODNB has an entry on her with some more tidbits you might want to include (let me know if you can't access this and I'll send it to you). This source also says there were several obits (The Times (22 May 1990) · The Guardian (17 May 1990) · The Telegraph (22 May 1990)) that might have more info if you're inclined to dig a bit deeper.
- I can access the ODNB bit and will incorporate some of the information. I'm trying to dig up those obits in LexisNexis, but I can't access Who Was Who. If you could find that, I'd be forever grateful. :) Keilana|Parlez ici 22:44, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- Update: I found the first two obits but couldn't find The Telegraph's. Keilana|Parlez ici 23:04, 30 October 2012 (UTC)
- Good additions! Unfortunately, I don't have access to Who Was Who. Sasata (talk) 01:32, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks, I guess I'll just have to forgo that, unfortunately. Keilana|Parlez ici 04:18, 1 November 2012 (UTC)

- I like the new images, they liven the place up. (But maybe three is one too many for the career section?) Consider, however, that the MoS discourages placing them at the start of new section, so you might want to right-align some. Also, since the purpose of this article isn't to educate about Plasmodium morphology, perhaps File:Malaria.jpg or similar might be a better choice? Sasata (talk) 01:32, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- In that case, I'll drop the Plasmodium image and just leave the mosquito (formatting should be fixed too). Is that all right? Keilana|Parlez ici 04:18, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
- I made a final tweak that you are free to revert. As I'm confident this article meets all the GA requirements, I'm happy to promote it now. Cheers, Sasata (talk) 04:45, 1 November 2012 (UTC)
