editThe rational for adding the 3 different types of external links is so that the artworks ongoing changes and the associated opinions can be documented. These changes directly relate to the artworks variable nature. Richard McCoy (talk) 12:30, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
This article aims to describe this sculpture and contextualize it, while paying attention to it's current state by gathering links recent images of it that have been published on the internet
The article still needs substantial work. --Richard McCoy (talk) 20:42, 10 August 2008 (UTC)
References
editI added a reference section, as there were references in the text that needed to be in such a section. --Daniel Cull (talk) 01:18, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
Ann Missing?
editAccording to the most recent edit, Ann has been removed. I wonder if this is for repairs? It would be ideal to have a picture of the piece in its removed state. --Richard McCoy (talk) 12:25, 21 August 2008 (UTC)
- Since the removal is temporary, wouldn't it make more sense to actually show the artwork? 204.152.235.216 (talk) 21:42, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- Interesting question. I argue that it's more accurate to show the most up-to-date state of the artwork, because that's what it is right now and therefore more accurate. But I'm interested to see what others thoughts are. --Richard McCoy (talk) 22:21, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
- I think it's about time we update this =) --Missvain (talk) 04:14, 9 February 2010 (UTC)
To have the picture with the piece removed is just stupid and pointless. If you wanted to show an "up to date picture" of the piece, show it on someones floor being repaired. Otherwise show the original piece. This is supposed to be an encyclopedia. Would a real encyclopedia show the Sistine Chapel being repaired with canvases and scaffolding up because that was the current state of the ceiling when the entry was written? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.251.185.100 (talk) 16:50, 23 April 2010 (UTC)
